Tebay Fell Race, 17 June 2017
Report by Jo Daniels
This English and British Champs counter drew a huge field, including many of the big names of the fell running scene. Todmorden Harriers were well represented at the event with fifteen athletes heading out into the Lake District sunshine on Saturday. Stuart Wolstenholme described it as a “beast of a race”, with Nick Barber and Graeme Brown favouring full body immersions in the becks on the way round the 13km course. The race winners were Sam Tosh of Rochdale Harriers in 1:12:51 and Victoria Wilkinson of Bingley Harriers in an incredible 46th place overall in 1:21:55. There were points aplenty picked up by Todmorden; the full results were as follows:
51st Andrew Worster 1.22.29
62nd Jonathan Wright 1.23.42
