The legendary Tod-Harriers annual Santa run attracted 51 singing Santas this year.
The family friendly 5k route took in a number of local venues. We stopped to sing Tod-Harrier themed Christmas carols at Tod Sports centre (where we went down like a lead balloon). Then onto Jack’s House where we surprised the landlord whilst he was eating his tea! After filing out, we continued on with a jog around the town stopping at the Christmas tree for a photo opportunity and another carol.
We followed this with a flash-mob of Morrisons, much to the amusement of the staff, before returning to The Golden Lion to sing a final carol to the locals. We finished off the evening with mince pies and mulled wine. You can see a video of this fine effort, supplied by Gig on the Golden Lion website, but you’re probably better off doing something far more productive!
