On Saturday at the Red Rose Cross Country in Rossendale, Tod Harriers turned up to maintain their great team effort in this year’s series. 7 ladies and 5 men for the club were in action. Whilst Pauline May made the top 10 in 20.54, Melanie Blackhurst showed her supremacy finishing as first v50 lady. Emma Fiedler joined them both to take the 1st Ladies vets team.
In the men’s, first home was mud-motoring Andrew Worster who tore up the course in just 28.10 for an impressive 6th place. Darren Shackleton and Daniel Taylor battled it out with Darren finishing just 33s ahead of his team mate.
Another awesome performance was from Richard Blakeley who finished first v75 in 43.14. Phot by Greg May.
