Saturday 24th July saw the highly anticipated return of Parkrun UK and after 70 weeks away lots of Toddies took the opportunity to run at our home event in Centre Vale Park. The usual fantastic Parkrun atmosphere returned too, almost as if Parkrun hadn’t been away at by all! The first Tod vest to cross the line was on the shoulders of Alex Whittem, 1st place in only 17.15, followed by Darren Shackleton in 18.44 and another seventeen Toddies following. Extra kudos go to the numerous Toddies who volunteered enabling the event to go ahead on the new course.
Further afield, Tod Harriers were out in force at Halifax, Woodbank, Shrewsbury, Lyme Park and Fell Foot Parkruns.
