Norland Moor was the latest trail race to feature in the club Grand Prix and 10 Toddies turned out for the event.
The race is a 10km trail race starting with a steep climb out of Copley up to Norland Moor. This is followed for by a full circuit round the moor and a return via fields and the initial track climbed at the start to finish at Copley Cricket club.
The weather was great for running, dry, sunny and warm but with a cooling breeze as you got out onto the tops.
There was a pretty low turnout for an excellently organised Halifax Harriers race with only 31 entrants on the day, however this meant lots of club runners came home with prizes including 1st Men’s team (Dom, Robin & Nick) and 1st Women’s team prizes (Janine, Zoe & Mandy). Overall winner as Owen Beilby of Wharfedale in 37:45
