Report by Jo Daniels
Midgley Moor Fell Race is a popular and challenging race organised by CVFR. The first Todmorden male to cross the line was Tristan Langlois – 21st in 51.52, with Robert Tyson just two places behind him – 23rd in 51.59. Howard Darwin completed Todmorden’s top three, completing the 5 mile course in 52.22. The first woman home for Todmorden was Pauline May, 36th (4th female) in 54.55. Second woman was Sue Roberts (WV50) – 67th in 1.13.13. The men also claimed fourth place in the team competition, with Tristan Langlois, Robert Tyson and Howard Darwin as first three counters.
