Liversedge Half Marathon, 18 Feb

The road Grand Prix is already into its 3rd race of the year with the Liversedge Half Marathon taking place on Sunday. With 482 runners taking on the 1000ft of climbing, spread over the 13.1 mile course, 10 Toddies were amongst them. All rounder Andrew Worster finished in 8th place with a time of 1.19.04. Claire Alger was the first Toddy Lady to cross the line in a time of 1.50.17. After 3 road races, the Toddy Road Grand Prix table has Darren Shackleton (pictured) at the top after 3 races with Andrew in 2nd place with 2 races under his belt. Julie Graham leads the women with 3 races done with Sarah Glyde just below her with 2 races completed. A special well done to Kim Ashworth for completing the race as she tumbled at last weeks Half Tour of Bradwell and had to retire due to a head injury. Well done Kim! Toddy results from Liversedge…..
