At the last long road race of the Todmorden Harriers road Grand Prix, a trio of Toddies made their way to beautiful Langdale in the heart of the Lake District. The stunning course takes in the Great Langdale and Little Langdale valleys with 360 degree views of the surrounding fells. One of the toughest half marathons in the UK, it features some very steep 1:3 gradient climbs. This did not deter our Todmorden trio who all put in sterling performances. In a field of 389 Duncan Cannon was 7th male in 1.31.44, Richard Butterwick 9th in 1:33.03 and Sarah Glyde took home a medal coming third woman in the open female category in 1:46.32.
