The second race in the club’s Road Championships saw 14 Harriers test themselves over the hilly roads of Huddersfield. A popular race with nearly 600 runners, the course follows a long ascent before a roller-coaster middle section and the relief of a final mile downhill for those with the legs. Darren Shackleton continued his fine form on the road, finishing 7th overall in 38:36, followed by Richard Butterwick in 40:26 and Pete Rolls with a PB in 42:53. Peter Kerridge was 3rd Vet 55 male in 43:25.
