The third instalment of the fast and furious charge around Hollingworth brought a huge number of Toddies out mid-week, featuring as it did in the club’s Grand Prix. There were fast times and glory in age groups aplenty for Todmorden Harriers. The MV40 first three spots all went to the Harriers – a fantastic effort. Chris Goddard took first MV40 to finish 11th overall in 18.32. 2nd MV40 was Darren Tweed (12th overall) in 18.34 and 3rd MV40 was Dan Taylor (13th overall) in 18.41. 14th place overall was taken by Richard Butterwick, who claimed first position in the MV45 age group in a time of 18.59. Duncan Ritchie took second in the MV45 age group (29th overall in 20.15), with Stu Wolstenholme completing the 1,2,3 for Todmorden in 20.34 (30th overall). Paul Brannigan continued the Harriers’ haul of podium positions to take 1st in the MV55 age group to finish 22nd overall in 19.41. Pauline May took 1st in the FV35 category and second female overall in a time of 20.15. Sarah Glyde was 2nd FV45 in 21.35. Andrew Bibby claimed first in the MV65 in a time of 22.31 (60th overall). Richard Blakeley took 1st in the MV75 age group (94th overall in 24.45). Race winners were Queensbury’s Tom Collinge in 15.54 and Stockport Harriers’ Faye W in 20.05
