Hebden Bridge Fell Race, 7th June

Thursday evening saw Todmorden Harriers host the popular and rebranded ‘That’s so’ Hebden Bridge fell race held from the Calder Holmes park in Hebden. The route meanders its way up to Stoodley Pike and then returns back over Erringden Moor and finally through the woods before a final sprint along the canel with the finish back in the park. There were 125 runners who took part on the night to take on the 10k route with 350mtrs of climbing. 18 Toddies turned out, with some helping out with marshal duties before hand. Peter Kerridge was the 1st Toddy back in 21st place with a personal best time of 51.11. Always in with a shout at every race these days was Annie Roberts with a warm up run, ready for Saturdays British Champs race, yet still managed to be the overall 1st Lady back in 22nd position with a time of 51.24. Jane Leonard won the female vet 60 category with her time of 1.06.16 giving her 84th position. First male runner was Clayton’s Chris Holdsworth in 40.30. Full Toddy results……..
