Who is the fastest? Runners or cyclists? Well, Bingley Harriers like to find out each year by hosting the Harriers V Cyclists race. An 8.3k/5.3 miles off road event test the runners and cyclists with 288mts/945ft of ascent thrown in as well. 3 Toddies from a field of 167 took the running challenge. Dave Collins ran the course in 51.49; Martin Roberts ran it in 57.30 and Jane Leonard did it in 1.03.45. For the record, Nathen Edmonson of Ilkley Harriers won the event as the first runner back in a time of 34.31 and the first cyclist, in third place overall was Thomas Potter in a time of 35.18.
