Harper Sets PB in Tod Park 5K Series

TOD PARK 5K SERIES RACE 4 – 7th AUGUST 2014

The final race of the Tod Park Summer 5K series took place on Thursday evening. The race was won by Tom Collinge from Todmorden Harrier Paul Brannigan in second. Both athletes had started cautiously behind the leading pack before making their move to the front on the penultimate lap. Brannigan and Todmorden’s Robin Tuddenham took the Vet 50 and Vet 45 prizes. Tod’s Michael Harper set a new personal best when holding off the challenge of club mate Dan Taylor. Look out for the winter 5k series starting 20^th November.
