A lovely summer evening saw over 100 runners enter the local Cragg Vale Fell Race. There was an extremely strong field taking part with an age range of 14 years old to 75 years old. The race starts at The Hinchcliffe Arms in Cragg Vale and heads steeply up towards Stoodley Pike before returning back down in to the Cragg Vale valley to finish. Janine McGregor-Stead carried on her rich vein of form by taking the first female prize and finished 26th overall. Todmorden Harriers Janine, Melanie Blackhurst and Elise Milnes also took the womens team prize.
