Tod Harriers entered 4 teams in the 2023 Calderdale Way Relay, 2 runners in each of the 6 legs, totalling 48 Toddies covering the 52-mile route.
Result of the day was Captain Nick Barber leading the Vets Open “Silver Backs” team to reclaim their title from 2021, pipping 2022 winners Calder Valley by just 34 seconds. Amazingly close after almost 7½ hours of racing. And finishing 12th overall out of 84 teams.
The Vets Ladies team “Todtastic” lead by Captain Mel Blackhurst finished in 2nd place and 44th overall.
There were 2 teams In the Open section, Dom Leckie’s “Tod-dlers” finished 11th, and 15th overall. And Jon Wilson’s “All Stars” in 32nd place / 52nd overall.
