On a beautiful summer evening, six Tod Harriers in a field of 97 runners, took to the hills above Whitworth for the Brown Wardle (and a Bit Moor) fell race, a 5.3km scamper over the Pennine hills with 360m of climb. First home, to win the race in 24.53, was Andrew Worster. Andy Ford was close behind in 8th (29.53), chased down by Andy McFie in 10th (30.11). Seconds behind Andy was Dan Taylor (12th – 30.24) followed by Tristan Langlois (pictured) (19th – 32.31) and James Riley (32nd – 34.35).
