The annual British fell running relays took place on Saturday 16th October at Low Borrowbridge Farm in the Howgill Fells. Each team consisted of 6 members running four legs including one navigation leg, 2 legs are run as singles and 2 legs as pairs. Todmorden Harriers entered 4 teams – Men Open (Dom Leckie, Dan Taylor, David Garner, Darren Graham, David Collins and Stuart Wolstenholme), Men Vet 40 (Nick Barber, Ian Symington, Andy McFie, Graeme Brown, Doni Clarke and Dwayne Dixon), Women Open (Helen Hodgkinson, Pauline May, Annie Hassell, Zoe Dijkman, Rosa Blackwell and Celia Way) and Women Vet 40 (Kate Mansell, Claire Shaw, Louise Greenwood, Melanie Blackhurst, Rebecca Patrick and Emma Fielder. The vet’s teams had great results within their age categories with the women finishing a very impressive 3rd and the men a respectable 10th.
