The iconic Ben Nevis Fell Race was held on Saturday up in Fort William, Scotland. The punishing 8.7 mile route to the highest point in Great Britain, Ben Nevis, and then straight back down gives each runner 4449 feet of agonising climbing and the same leg wobbling descent! 449 runners managed to complete the race, standing, with Ian Symington and Dan Taylor our duo of representatives finishing high up the field. First back was Ian Symington in a hugely respectable 53rd place in a time of 2.01.44. Dan Taylor was close by in 111th place with a fantastic time of 2.14.30
