Just a single Toddie took part in the David Staff memorial fell race on Sunday. Louise Abdy tested herself on this 6km route with around 300m of climb up to Darwen Tower. She ran a great race and finished in 53.50 for 108th place.

Sunday saw the first race in the West Yorkshire Winter League, superbly hosted by Baildon Runners. On Saturday three Todmorden Harriers and three Calder Valley runners visited North Wales to run the Penmaenmawr Fell Race over the Cerrig Gwynion hills. 161 runners tackled the course which is fast and runnable apart from the initial steep climb and a boggy traverse mid-section. The road Grand Prix continued on Sunday with the Through the Villages race. Starting and finishing at the Dressers Arms, Wheelton, the 8.5 mile route follows roads through Wheelton, Brinscall, Abbey Village and Withnell, and accumulating nearly 900 feet of climbing.
