NOON STONE FELL RACE

Fell Races

The Noon Stone Fell Race is a counter in the 2010 English Fell Running Championship sponsored by Pete Bland Sports and Inov8.

Probably Todmorden's toughest race. Run over harsh terrain in late February (in the South Pennines this often feels like the middle of winter!). It is a race for the true fell runner as it's not only a measure of your speed and stamina, your navigation will also be put to the test as much of the route is unmarked.

NO TRAINING OVER THE RACE ROUTE PLEASE!!!
The race crosses areas of private land (Yorkshire Water) and also areas of Special Scientific Interest (SSI) so there should be absolutely no training over the race route and doing so may jeopardise the future of the race.
